Dallas, Texas—Texas Regional Bank (TRB) has announced the appointment of Alicia Baum as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager. Based at the Dallas LBJ location, Baum will focus on commercial relationship development and portfolio growth throughout the Metroplex, with a primary emphasis on Frisco and the surrounding areas.
With more than 17 years in commercial and private banking, Baum has developed deep experience serving clients across North Texas. Her career has included roles in credit structuring, relationship management, and portfolio oversight, with a strong focus on supporting business owners and middle market clients. She is the first team member on the ground for TRB in Frisco, where the bank has broken ground on a new location expected to open in the first half of 2026. Most recently, she led the launch of a new banking office for a Texas-based institution, overseeing site selection, project execution, and lending process improvements.
In her role at TRB, Baum is responsible for managing and expanding a commercial loan and deposit portfolio, supporting clients with customized financing strategies, and contributing to strategic initiatives across the region. She is also leading efforts to recruit and develop a local team to serve the Frisco market.
“Alicia brings a level of professionalism, market knowledge, and client focus that reflects the way we do business at TRB,” said Dennis Wright, DFW Central Region President. “She’ll be instrumental in our efforts to serve the Frisco market and is already laying the foundation for long-term success in that community.”
Baum is a committed supporter of several civic and nonprofit organizations across North Texas. She has contributed to the mission of groups such as Melody of Hope, Frisco Family Services, the North Texas Food Bank, and United Way, and remains active in promoting their work. She also engages with community and business organizations including the Greater North Texas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
Baum joined Texas Regional Bank on June 16, 2025.
